1.2  Season Planning

Season Planning is an optional but valuable step for series creators. Mapping out a season arc before writing individual episodes helps you maintain consistent character arcs, avoid continuity problems, and give each episode a meaningful place in the larger story.

In Ordinary Animator, you can create a Seasons swimlane on the project timeline and add placeholder arcs for each episode. This gives you a visual overview of the season before any episode is fully developed.

Put it into practice

Decide whether to plan by season. If yes, create a Seasons swimlane and add one arc placeholder per episode with a working title and brief summary.
