Character Bones and Rigging
Character bones and rigging are essential for enabling a character to move and pose. Bones form a skeleton structure, and rigging connects this skeleton to the character’s mesh, allowing for realistic movement.
Automatic Rigging in VRoid Studio: If you create characters using VRoid Studio, is done for you automatically. This simplifies setup as the character’s skeletal structure is pre-built.
Bone Structure: VRoid Studio’s auto-rigging provides a standard bone structure, allowing for the character to be posed and animated without needing manual configuration.
Ready for Animation: With the bones and rigging already in place, you can immediately start animating the character.
Associate animation clips with your character.
Upload mixamo.com animation clips as FBX files to your Files area inside Ordinary Animator.
Create sub-clips or poses with animation masks, as required.
Open the character and link animation clips as actions to your character.
Alternatively, select an animation preset and have it add missing animation clips and actions to your character.
